back to my teen years

when i was a teeny bopper my dad introduced me to shaving. i used a razor with blue blades. it hacked my pimply face to ribbons. i remember being covered in little pieces of blood-soaked toilet paper. when wilkinson blades were introduced, the difference was outstanding. over the years i went to 2 blades, 3 blades, 5 blades. the cost always seemed to go up and the quality of the shave went from ok to not very good. now retired i find that money is tight. i retired my 16 blade diesel powered super micro blade razor. i bought a made in china razor. i bought a package of wilkinson blades. a great pairing.

Old school razor still the best in this hi-tech world. Makes no sense to spend 5x cost to shave your face, wake up stubby faces.

These are a great go to blade

These are a great go to blade, they seem give as many or more shaves than any blade I have tried. They are not the sharpest blades but I do not cut or nick myself with these blades. I use these with a no name double razor, men’s soap company, Himalaya with Shea butter soap sold at amazon and a pure Badger hair brush from perfecto also bought at Amazon, great combo. My next purchase will a good DE razor.

For some reason or another these don’t fit into my razor well. I have to manipulate them in by pressing down as I close the razor.
